“101” is the debut EP from Only Matter, with its pair of tracks a thoughtful tribute to the nature found on the endpoints of San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

These tracks provide a precipitation of summer that's at once idealistic and realistic. As much as we of OM like to think that with warmer weather comes all things carefree, we know that winter's melancholic grimness doesn't melt away with the snow. Alongside an effortless joy and levity might reside heartbreak; with fondness, longing.

“Land’s End” captures the invigorating sense of following the paths along San Francisco’s northwestern coast, a breeze infused with sea air greeting those seeking an escape of the city’s stressors. The solace one finds there refreshes both one’s senses and perspective; it is a place to find clarity in the face of major life changes.

“Marin” provides a vantage point looking back at the city’s lights from afar, framed by the Golden Gate Bridge’s arching cables. It is a nostalgic retrospective acknowledging a chapter of one’s life filled with plenty of sparkling memories, though not without some of the city's signature fog clouding the otherwise picturesque vantage point.
